Style Winners From the Golden Globes 2012

Last night saw the awards ceremony the Golden Globes take place. Of course apart from the actual awards giving part of the event the most talked about subject is the fashion. An entire wave of dresses are showcased up and down the red carpet and a whole host of styles and looks are displayed. It is probably one of the most important part of the awards event and many watch as film and TV stars walk up the carpet in their best attire.

Of course the women do take a lead over the men as there is a tremendous amount of dresses on show. The Golden Globes fashion scene is a night for glamorous gowns, luxurious dresses, and exquisite pieces of fashion. The finest of actors and actress of our time are seen parading up and down the famous red runner with their high end designer wear on show to all.

Of course there are some that truly stand out from the crowd. Some get it right while others get it drastically wrong. Those who do choose a winning look are praised for their stunning choice of dress. This year saw an amazing amount of victorious apparel being worn on the A-listers. An entire hoard of different styles and trends were seen and we got a variety of pieces to gaze at.

There are a few names that always get it right and are forever on the best dressed list. We saw a white satin gown finished off with a slick of red across the collar which was superb. Another who constantly looks fabulous chose to adorn a pink full length number which proved to be a hit with the fashion critics. One more wowed the cameras in her neutral floor sweeping dress which consisted of a short hem at the front a longer length at the back.

The main colours of the night seemed to be dark and vibrant reds, pale and interesting nude shades and dark and mysterious navy blues. There was also a lot of bling on those who were best dressed with dazzling diamonds and sparkling jewels in the form of designer necklaces, bracelets, rings and clutches.

This year did not see as many downfalls as previous years. It seems many have learnt their lessons when it comes to the red carpet and have styled their way to top Golden Globe fashion. The hair and makeup was as always flawless with the order of the night being sleek up-dos and barely there makeup looks.
